In the District Court of Pittsburg County State of Oklahoma In the Matter of the Estates of Walter Drury Blackwood, Sr., deceased, and Stephen Blackwood, deceased. Case No. PB-2014-165 COMBINED NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND NOTICE OF HEARING To all persons interested in the Estates of Walter Drury Blackwood, Sr. and Stephen Blackwood: You are hereby notified that on the 31st day of October, 2014, the Petitioner, Matthew Blackwood, c/o Law Offices of Josh Copeland, 124 E. Main St., Norman, OK 73069, filed in the District Court of Pittsburg County, a Petition for Joint Summary Administration of said Estates. The Petitioner has alleged Walter Drury Blackwood, Sr., age seventy (70) years, passed away on April 18, 1992, domiciled and residing at 940 B Lansing Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 in Charleston County, South Carolina, leaving an estate of real property valued at less than $200,000.00. Petitioner has asked the Court for certain relief pursuant to Okla. Stat. tit. 58, §§ 245, et seq. Petitioner has alleged Walter Drury Blackwood, Sr. left a validly executed will. The Petitioner has alleged Stephen Blackwood, age fifty-three (53) years, passed away on August 11, 2014, domiciled and residing at 4718 North Highway 17, Awendaw, SC 29429, in Charleston County, South Carolina, leaving an estate of real property valued at less than $200,000.00. Petitioner has asked the Court for certain relief pursuant to Okla. Stat. tit. 58, §§ 245, et seq. Petitioner has alleged Stephen Blackwood died intestate. The name and address of the Decedents¹ heirs or devisees are as follows: 1. Robert J. Blackwood10194 Concho Court Tualatin, Oregon 97062 2. Walter D. Blackwood P.O. Box Crystal Beach, FL 34681 3. Matthew Blackwood1346 Somersby Lane Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466 In an Order for Combined Notice entered by the Court, the Court ordered dispensation of the regular estate proceedings prescribed by Oklahoma law, ordered notice to creditors, and issued an order for hearing upon the Petition of Matthew Blackwood. The Court has appointed Matthew Blackwood as Special Administrator of the Estates of Walter Drury Blackwood, Sr., deceased, and Stephen Blackwood, deceased. Pursuant to the Order for Combined Notice: All creditors having a claim against Walter Drury Blackwood, Sr., deceased and/or Stephen Blackwood, deceased, are required to present these claims, with a description of all security interest and other collateral (if any) held by each creditor with respect to such claims to: Matthew Blackwood c/o Law Offices of Josh Copeland 124 E. Main St. Norman, OK 73069 You are advised that the claim of any creditor not shown in the petition will be barred unless the claim is presented to the personal representative not more than thirty (30) days following the filing of the petition and combined notice. Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held on the 7th day of January, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom of Judge Bland at the Pittsburg County Courthouse, at which time all matters which have been brought to the attention of the Court pertaining to the Estates of Walter Drury Blackwood, Sr. and Stephen Blackwood will be considered. You are advised that you must file objections to the Petition for Joint Summary Administration and/or the final account and petition for determination of heirs, legatees, and devisees of the decedent; distribution of decedent¹s estate; and discharge of the Special Administrator at any time before the final hearing and send a copy to the petitioner, or you will be deemed to have waived any objections to the petition. If such an objection is filed before the hearing, the court will determine at the final hearing whether the will attached to the petition (if there was one) should be admitted to probate, whether summary proceedings are appropriate and, if so, whether the estate will be distributed and to whom the estates will be distributed. /s/ James D.
