NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR RFQ FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES VILLAGE OF SIDNEY The Village of Sidney, located in Delaware County, New York, will apply for Community Development Block Grant/Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds from the New York State Governor's Office of Storm Recovery for the Riverlea Neighborhood Project ("the Project"). The first phase of the Project will involve the annexation of land located in the Town of Sidney and the extension of water and sewer infrastructure to the annexed area. The goal of the Project is to develop the annexed property into a mixed use residential neighborhood, to provide safe and affordable housing to the residents of Sidney, including single-family housing, multi-family housing, retail space, open space, community space, and all associated infrastructure. In connection with the Project, the Village of Sidney is seeking to contract with a qualified professional engineering firm licensed in the State of New York, to prepare all preliminary and final design plans and specifications for the extension of water and wastewater services to the site, to assist the Village in the necessary environmental review and land annexation, to assist with the review of development plans, and to conduct all necessary due diligence.
