NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. on December 16, 2014 at the Village Office, 22 Main Street, Cooperstown, New York by the Village Clerk of the Village of Cooperstown for the removal of marked trees. The bid must include the cost of cutting the trees and grinding the stumps. The Village will be responsible for the removal of the wood, chipping, removal of stump grindings and traffic control. Specifications may be obtained from the Village Clerk's Office, 22 Main Street, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or by calling (607) 547-2411. Bids must be submitted on or before 11:00 a.m. on December 16, 2014 in a sealed envelope addressed to the Village Clerk, Village of Cooperstown, and marked "Bid-Tree Removal" and may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. Faxed bid proposals will not be accepted. Bidders are advised not rely on the Postal Service or any other mail delivery service for the timely and proper delivery of their bid proposals.
