____________________________________ LEGAL NOTICE ____________________________________ INVITATION FOR BIDS Roofing Project Latta Public Schools LATTA PUBLIC SCHOOLS, ISD #24 13925 CR 1560 Ada, Oklahoma 74820 Sealed bids for reroofing a portion of Latta High School will be received on or before May 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the office of the Superintendent of Schools, Bingham Building, Latta Public Schools, 13925 CR 1560, Ada, Oklahoma. The Instruction to Bidders, Bid Form, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, Addenda and other Contract documents may be examined at the office of REDLAND-CHILDERS, ARCHITECTS & ASSOCIATES, P.C. located at 117 North Broadway, Suite 207, Ada, Oklahoma. Copies of plans may be obtained at the office of the Architect upon payment of $25.00 deposit for each set. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such set promptly and in good condition will be refunded his payment. Any non-bidder will forfeit his deposit. Additional prints of plans and specifications may be obtained for $3.00 per sheet for plans and $.25 per sheet for specifications; not refundable. An electronic pdf version of bidding documents is available for a non-refundable fee of $20.00 The bidder must agree in writing that any bids submitted by him will be irrevocable until the Contract has been awarded or all bids have been rejected. A period for this determination will not exceed thirty (30) days after date of bid opening. Bidders must provide Bid Security in the form of a certified check or bank draft payable to the Latta Public Schools, U.S. government bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Security checks will be returned to all but the three lowest bidders immediately after the bid opening. The three lowest bid securities are retained until the contract is awarded. Each Bidder shall complete the Non-Collusion Affidavit and Business Relationship Affidavit and submit them with the Bid Package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance, Payment and Defect Bonds or other acceptable forms of guarantee.
