REQUEST FOR BIDS Madison County EMS will be accepting bids on two (2) new 2014 or 2015 Chevrolet or GMC G4500’s, cutaway ambulance package with diesel engine and automatic transmission with overdrive for Type III ambulance conversion. These units must comply with all Federal and State regulations. Bids are to be received no later than January 15, 2014 at 9 AM. Units must be delivered within 120 days of bid award. Complete bid packages are available by contacting Madison County EMS. These bid specifications are the minimum acceptable. In effort to keep all bids competitive, minor changes due to vendor design in compartment layout that increase storage are acceptable as well as different positioning of heat/ac equipment. Minor variations due to specific manufacturer designs that meet and/or exceed these specifications will be acceptable.
