(Published in The Norman Transcript January 9, 16, 23, 30, 2015, 4t) Austin Enterprises, Ltd, 4100 72nd Ave, NW, Norman, OK 73072-1526 has submitted a permit application to the Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) to mine sand through the loading and hauling method on portions of the following parcels of land: Part of Section seven (7), Township nine (9) north, Range three (3) west, of the Indian Meridian, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The total permit area, containing 71.58 acres, is located in the Norman, U.S.G.S quadrangle map. This permit site is located approximately 2.0 miles west of the town of Norman. A copy of this complete permit application is available for public inspection and copying at the Cleveland County Courthouse, 201 E Jones, Norman, OK 73069 Upon written request to the Oklahoma Department of Mines, information contained in the permit application may be inspected or copied at the Department of Mines. Any landowner or resident of any occupied dwelling, and public entity or public agency, or any party that may be adversely affected has the right to submit comments or object to the issuance of the permit in writing. An informal conference will be provided if specifically requested in writing.
