(Published in the Wednesday and Tuesday editions of The Duncan Banner, February 11 and 17, 2015-2 times) The Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments is pleased to announce a request for 2016 funding proposals under Title III of the Older Americans Act of 1965. These services are intended to serve the needs of Oklahomans 60 years of age or older in the counties of Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Grady, Jefferson, McClain, Stephens and Tillman. Services funded include transportation, meals both congregate and home-delivered, outreach, chore and home repair, coordination of services, education and training, health promotion, and assistance for caregivers, particularly grandparents raising grandchildren. Before the project is considered, a project representative must attend the Proposers’ Conference on February 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Business & Industry Service Center, Red River Technology Center, 3300 W Bois D’Arc, Duncan, Oklahoma. All submissions must be completed by March 9, 2015.
