(First Published March 5, 2015) LEGAL NOTICE TO: All Heirs and Devisees or Interested Parties of properties known as: 1310 Missouri 1222 Grand 118 N. Byers 109 N. Jackson 2838 W. 26th St. 4004 Hearns Blvd. 3826 Hearns Blvd. 3802 Hearns Blvd. 4110 Hearns Blvd. 1610 Broadway 1402 S. Joplin 1806 S. Joplin You are hereby notified that the above structures owned by you have been inspected and posted as a "dangerous building" by the City of Joplin in accordance with the Housing Code, Building Code and Joplin City Code, Chapter 26, Article X. It is the opinion of the Building Department that the deterioration of these structures due to neglect, rot, and vandalism is so severe that it would be economically unfeasible to rehabilitate. We therefore suggest demolition. A "demolition hearing" has been scheduled for March 27, 2015 in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 602 S. Main 5th Floor. You may present witnesses on your behalf and may offer testimony as to why the structure should not be declared a "dangerous building" and why it should not be demolished. You or your representative must appear and be heard at a "demolition hearing" in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 602 S. Main 5th Floor, Joplin, Missouri, at 9:00 a.m., on Friday, March 27, 205. If the Board orders demolition the cost will be a personal debt of the owners, and/or be certified as a special tax bill against the property. Nick Heatherly Director of Public Works (272)
