ACQUISITION OF LAND PALO PINTO COUNTY APPROXIMATELY 5,500 ACRES FOR A NEW WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA In a meeting on March 26, 2015 the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (the Commission) will consider the acquisition of approximately 5,500 acres in Palo Pinto County for establishment of a new Wildlife Management Area representing the Cross Timbers ecoregion. At this meeting, the public will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed transaction before the Commission takes action. The meeting will start at 9:00 a.m. at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Headquarters, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, Texas 78744.
