RESOLUTION IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the West Oneonta Fire District at it's regularly scheduled meeting on March 19th, 2015; that WHEREAS said Fire District has heretofore created a repair reserve fund pursuant to Section 6-d of the General Municipal Law; and WHEREAS there is presently in said fund in excess of Fifteen Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars; and WHEREAS the Board of Fire Commissioners have determined that there is a need to transfer the aforementioned sum of Fifteen Thousand( $15,000.00) Dollars to its capital reserve fund established pursuant to section 6-g of the General Municipal Law for the purposes of utilizing said funds in conjunction with monies currently in the capital reserve fund for the purposes of acquiring a used vehicle from the Hunington Manor Fire District at a total cost of Thirty Thousand ($30,000.00) Dollars to be used in the prevention and suppression of fire within the area protected by the West Oneonta Fire District. Said resolution being adopted subject to a Public Hearing to be conducted on the 16th day of April, 2015 at 7:00p.m. At the Fire District's Firehouse located at 2865 Co. Hwy. 8 West Oneonta, NY 13861. All persons who wish to comment relative to the transfer of the aforementioned sum of Fifteen Thousand ($15,000.00) Dollars from the repair reserve fund established pursuant to Section 6-d of the General Municipal Law to the Fire Districts capital reserve fund established pursuant Section 6-g of the General Municipal Law may be heard at that time to comment in favor of or in opposition of to the transfer of the aforementioned sum. Said resolution having been adopted unanimously by the members of the Board in attendance at the meeting on the 19th day of March, 2015.
