80MR LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Ashtabula County Airport Authority at the Northeast Ohio Regional Airport, 2382 Airport Road, Jefferson, Ohio 44047 until 12:00 PM EST on the 13th day of April, 2015 at which time said bids will be opened and publicly read for the Grading Improvements project for the Ashtabula County Airport Authority, in accordance with the specifications on file in bid #2015-1-Grading Improvements. The project generally consists of the regarding of a specific area of Northeast Ohio Regional Airport to improve drainage and meet FAA grading criteria. The contract shall be let in accordance with the Bidding Documents (as defined in the Instructions to Bidders included therein) on file at the Northeast Ohio Regional Airport, 2382 Airport Road, Jefferson, Ohio 44047. Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company submitting a bid and shall be accompanied by either: (1) A bond in accordance with division (B) of the ORC 153.54 for the full amount of the bid; or (2) A certified check or cashiers check. The amount of the certified check or cashiers check shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, as security that if a bid is accepted delivery is assured. Bidders are advised that HB 308 rules apply. Contractors or suppliers shall furnish MSDS sheets for any hazardous substance brought onto the Northeast Ohio Regional Airport property and/or job site. Contractors must purchase the bid documents at their own expense for a document fee of Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) payable to Northeast Blueprint. A receipt for the purchase of the bid packet must be included as a part of a properly submitted bid. Accordingly, without the inclusion of the receipt, the bid will be deficient. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Northeast Ohio Regional Airport, Terminal building, 2382 Airport Road, Jefferson, Ohio at Eleven oclock (11:00) AM EST on April 6, 2015. Each bid must be in a sealed envelope and the outside thereof properly marked with the Quotation Number, Date and Time of the bid opening. The Ashtabula County Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and to award the bid or bids to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority, as determined by the Authority Board.
