LEGAL NOTICE The Neshannock Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing for a petition by Neshannock Properties LLC, (previously known as the Villas at Autumn Hills Planned Residential Development), off of Eleanor Drive, New Castle, PA 16105, for a zoning map amendment to the Neshannock Township Zoning Ordinance. The public hearing will be April 22, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the Neshannock Township Municipal Building, 3131 Mercer Road, New Castle, PA 16105. The proposed zoning map amendment is to rezone the approximately 90 acres of this development from R-2 Residential Rural District to R-3 Residential High Density District. The petitioner also notes that they intend to terminate the Planned Residential Development and submit a conventional subdivision for the property. Bucci, Secretary Treasurer Neshannock Township Board of Supervisors Legal: April 4, 11, 2015 PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to the "Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act" notice is hereby given that Glacial Sand and Gravel Co has made application to the PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for bond release on Surface Mine Permit 37950304. The mine site is located on the USGS 7.5 minute Harlansburg quadrangle in Plain Grove & Scott Townships, Lawrence County and Worth Township, Butler County, and is known as the Elliott Mine. The permit is located on the south side of SR 108 at a point approximately 1700 feet west of the intersection of SR 108 and I-79, and extending south for 3500 feet. A Stage I & II release is requested for 53.9 Ac of affected lands owned by Elliott, Graham, The Association of Reg Baptist Church of W Penna, and Glacial Sand & Gravel Co., which have been reclaimed to the approved post-mining landuse of unmanaged open water and fish and wildlife habitat in accordance to the reclamation plan. In addition, the landowner (Glacial Sand and Gravel Co) has requested that the access road, gate and equipment storage area remain permanently. The total amount of bond currently onsite is $53,900. A bond release of $53,900 is requested. The total amount of bond to remain is $0.00.
