___________________________________ LEGAL NOTICE ___________________________________ INVITATION TO BID BID PLACE: Chickasaw Nation Department of Community Services 111 Rosedale, Ada, OK 74820 THE CHICKASAW NATION DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES WILL RECEIVE BIDS FOR ALL TRADES FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION OF 10 HOMES LOCATED IN MARSHALL AND PONTOTOC COUNTY UNTIL 5:00 PM ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2014. PUBLIC BID OPENINGS WILL BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2014. SPECIFICATIONS, TOGETHER WITH ALL NECESSARY FORM DOCUMENTS FOR QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS MAY BE SECURED FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES BY CALLING THE PROCUREMENT OFFICE AT (580)421-8800, EXT. 8875. PREVAILING DAVIS-BACON WAGE RATES WILL APPLY. ALL RELATED BIDDING DOCUMENTS ARE ON FILE AT THE CHICKASAW NATION DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, 111 ROSEDALE, ADA, OK 74820 (580)421-8800, AND ARE OPEN FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION. THE COMPETENCY AND RESPONSIBILITY OF BIDDERS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN AWARDING THE CONTRACT, AND THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS AND WAIVE IRREGULARITY IN BIDDING. THE CONTRACT WILL BE REASONABLE, AND IF IT IS IN THE INTEREST OF THE CHICKASAW NATION TO ACCEPT IT. EACH BIDDER SHALL BE AWARE THAT BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED FROM INDIAN AND NON-INDIAN CONTRACTORS AND PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE RECEIVED FROM INDIAN CONTRACTORS. QUALIFICATION FOR EACH PREFERENCE SHALL BE DETERMINED BY THE AUTHORITY AND BASED ON RECEIPT OF ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS SUBMITTED WITH OR PRIOR TO THE BID. CONTACT THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR DETAILED REQUIREMENTS. CONTRACTORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT INDIAN PREFERENCE IN SUBCONTRACTING, BUYING MATERIALS, SERVICES, AND HIRING OF EMPLOYEES AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 805.204 OF THE HUD INDIAN HOUSING REGULATIONS.
