____________________________________ LEGAL NOTICE ____________________________________ Engel Sand Company, 10432 US 377, Ada, Oklahoma 74820 has submitted a permit revision application for permit # LE 1400 to the Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) to mine fill Sand through the surface mining method on portions of the following parcels of land: N/2 NW/4 OF Section 17; E/2 E/2 OF Section 7; S/2 NW/4 and the N/2 SW/4 OF Section 8, All in Township 4N, Range 6 E, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma The revision request is to add 16.65 acres. The total permit area, containing 160.9 acres, is located in the Oklahoma U.S.G.S. quadrangle map, The permit site is located approximately 4 miles North of the Town of Ada, and 1/4 mile West of US Highway 377. Canadian Sandy Creek lies North of the proposed acres to be added. A copy of this complete permit application is available for public inspection and the copying at the Pontotoc County Court House, 120 West 13th Street, Ada, OK 74820. upon written request to the Oklahoma Department of Mines, any landowner or resident of any occupied dwelling, any public entity agency, or any party that may be adversely affected has the right to submit comments or object to the issuance of the permit in writing.
