(First Published November 16, 2014) REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR: Engineering Consultant for Design and Construction Phase Services The City of Joplin, Missouri, plans to hire an aviation engineering consultant for design and construction phase services for a number of projects to be designed and constructed at the Joplin Regional Airport over the next 5 years. The general description of the projects are as follows: Tie-down installation and resurfacing of the GA ramp area. GA ramp lighting Extension of Runway 18/36 to 7,100 Feet Including AGIS Survey Relocation of Taxiway 'B' which will Include the removal of Taxiway 'B', Runway 5/23 and Taxiway 'C' Perimeter Road development and construction Addition of Taxiway 'N' from Terminal Ramp to Runway 13 Development of South Industrial Park road, drainage,&utility infrastructure Airfield drainage, detention, and outfall on both the east and west side. Development of written Airport user rules and minimum standards. Development of an Airport Business Plan. Joint use ARFF/Maintenance facility. The general scope of services to be provided for these projects consists of the following phases: Preliminary Design Bidding&Negations Construction. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) should include: Qualifications and experience of your firm and its key personnel in conducting similar airport design projects, including a list of recent projects. Firms interested in providing Engineering services for these projects should submit the copies of their qualifications on or before 3:00 PM December 5, 2014 at 602 S.
