Case No. A-2014-03 NOTICE OF HEARING TO DETERMINING CHILD ELIGILE FOR ADOPTION WITHOUT CONSENT OF PUTATIVE FATHER THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA, TO: Peter Edward Vranovsky’s DOB 10/6/1968 On the 3rd day of April, 2014 an Application was filed in this Court by the adoptive parent seeking an order of this Court to permit the adoption of without the consent of the alleged father. Minor child D.M.V. was born on April 24th, 1998, in Collin County, County of Denton, Texas who is of the Male gender and is of the race of Native American, Chickasaw Tribe, to Leah Michelle Lee and Peter Edward Vranovsky’s. A hearing on said Application is set for the 1st day of July, 2014, at the hour of 9:00 o’clock, A.M. in the Tribal Courtroom in the Chickasaw Nation sitting in Ada Oklahoma, Judicial Building 821 N. Mississippi Ada, Oklahoma 74820, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73102, before the Honorable Sherri Abbott Todd. Petitioner has alleged in the Petition/Application that said child is eligible for adoption in that the alleged father of D.M.V., child born out of wedlock, is Peter Edward Vranovsky’s, and that no person has acknowledged paternity of said child nor taken an action to legally establish claim to paternity of said child nor exercise parental rights or duties over said child, including failure to contribute to the support of the mother of said child to the extent of his financial ability during her term of pregnancy. NOTIC IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE COURT WILL HEAR EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OF AND IN OPPOSITION TO THE GRANTIN OF THE APPLICATION AT THE TIME AND PLACE ABOVE SHOWN WHERE YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE PRESENT AND AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD AT SAID TIME AND PLACE INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THE ADOPTION OF SAID CHILD: YOUR FAILURE TO APPEAR AT SAID HEARING SHALL CONSTITUTE A DENIAL OF YOUR INTEREST IN THE CHILD, WHICH DENIAL MAY RESULT, WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE OF THIS PROCEEDING OR ANY SUBSEQUENT PROCEEDINGS, IN SAID CHILD’S ADOPTION WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.
